This painting is one of a small number of Hoàng Tích Chù’s lacquer paintings in the permanent collection of Witness Collection. It is not for sale. Witness Collection does make its art works available to museums and universities around the world and runs an active programme to support loans and collaborations. We also provide access for researchers, writers and curators. This piece was last exhibited at the ‘Il Drago e la Farfalla’ (The Dragon and the Butterfly) exhibition of Vietnamese art organised by the Province of Rome, Italy at the Complesso del Vittoriano in 2006.
