The Nguyễn Ái Quốc School was established in September 1949, taking its name from one of the pseudonyms of Hồ Chí Minh. It changed names many times from its inception: Nguyễn Ái Quốc Central Party School (1945-1954); Central Nguyễn Ái Quốc Party School (1954-1975); until most recently the Ho Chi Minh National Academy Of Politics (2014-until present). The School contributed to the personal training and theoretical research of the Communist Party and served the revolution for national liberation.
